According to the exam pattern of SAT 2018, the complete duration of the test is three hours. However, candidates are given extra 50 minutes for the Essay, which is optional and based on college requirement. The SAT exam pattern 2018 has three broad sections:

The SAT 2018 test pattern designs a total of 155 questions including the optional essay. As per the SAT exam pattern, there is no negative marking for the incorrect answer, so candidates can safely guess an answer. The SAT exam 2018 is basically objective but includes an essay for the writing section.
The SAT 2018 Subject test is opted only by candidates whose colleges ask for the SAT Subject scores.The total number of questions in the SAT Subject test are 20 and all the questions are based on MCQ.
