Six students from Maharashtra and West Bengal will represent India in the prestigious 52nd edition of International Mathematical Olympiad, beginning saturday in Sporthallen Zuid in Amsterdam.

* Debdyuti Banerjee (Hoogly),
* Akashdeep Dey (Nadia),
* Akashnil Dutta (Kolkata),
* Prafulla S Dhariwal (Pune),
* Indraneel G Kasmalkar (Pune),
* Mrudul M Thatte (Pune).
Game for Geeks:
* The competition involves tackling difficult mathematical problems. Calculators not allowed.
The paper consists of six problems, with each problem worth seven points.
* The examination is held over two consecutive days; the contestents have four-and-a-half hours to sole three problems per day.
* The problems chosen are from various areas of secondary school mathematics, broadly classufiable as geometry, number theory, algebra and combinatorics.
